HPHS Pipe
GRP Internal Pipe

GRP internal pipe is manufactured using engineered material that consists of a thermoset resin and a fiber reinforcement. The liquid resin is combined with the fiber reinforcement in the manufacturing process and cures into a solid laminate.

Polymer Concrete External Pipe

Polymer Concrete as an exterior structure of the pipe provides the high compressive and high stiffness strength required in microtunneling installations. Like the GRP internal pipe its bonding material is polyester resin, and when fully cured, gives the pipe additional properties of elasticity safety against fracture and corrosion resistance.

Manufacturer of the HPHS Pipe System

GRP internal pipe is produced by a continuous filament winding process. The pipe itself is constructed with a special corrosion barrier which provides protection of the structural layers against chemical attack. After calibrating and chamfering the GRP spigot ends, polymer concrete is cast around it, and when cured, the pipe system becomes monolithic with the GRP interior pipe.
